What is the last date of GSTR-1 for August?


The last date to file monthly GSTR 1 Return is normally 10th of next month after the end of such taxable month. Similarly, the last date to file Quarterly GSTR 1 return is 31st of next month after end of such quarter.

For eg. The GSTR 1 for the month of March 2019 is due on 13th April 2019 For turnover more than 1.5 crore(GST Notification). Here March 2019 is the taxable month. Similarly the GSTR 1 Due date for the Quarter January 2019 to March 2019 is due on 30th April 2019. Here, the taxable period is January 2019 to march 2019.

As per the latest update The GSTR 1 due date for the the month of August 2019 for Turnover exceeding Rs. 1.50 Crores is 11th September 2019
