if
you are a end consumer of product then you can not see the tax breakup on
the package. Thus, you can see only the Maximum Retail price(MRP )which always includes all
taxes and duties.
However, if you are involved in business to business(B2B) transaction then your supplier must give tax break up on the GST invoice. Thus, you can make out what is the basic price of the goods you purchase, discount if any, tax, freight etc.
Further, based on such tax invoice you can take input tax credit on such purchases. Therefore, you supplier must issue proper invoice as per GST rules.
